Erin Ash Sullivan with Meadowlark at Stage 33 Live

May 21 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

$15 – $20

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – Erin Ash Sullivan was half of the folk duo Edith O., along with Amy Speace, in New York City in the 90s. They performed regularly at NYC venues like the Bitter End and CBGB’s Gallery, and released the album “Tattooed Queen” in 1998 to critical acclaim. Erin, a sleep-deprived mother of a six-week-old, forgot to show up for the band’s record release show. After a hiatus to focus on her family and career as an educator, she returned to writing and performing. In 2022, she was selected as a “most wanted” performer from Grassy Hill Emerging Artist Showcase at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, and was John Platt’s selection for the Folk DJ Showcase at NERFA. She was the recipient of the Mark Erelli Judge’s Choice Award in the New England Songwriting Competition, a Songwriter Serenade semifinalist, a finalist in the 2021 Rose Garden Performing Songwriter Competition, and a finalist in the 2021 Mid-Atlantic Song Contest.

Longtime New England singer-songwriter Bonnie Waters teamed up with Howard Roscoe in 2015 to form the folk/pop/Celtic/blues duo Meadowlark. From warm ballads to lively uptempo tunes, their songs are inspiring and uplifting. Bonnie was a finalist in the The John Lennon Songwriting Contest for her song “Hushabye,” and Howard, the sound man for a music venue in Cambridge, England for many years, has a soft spot for Mississippi Delta Blues.

Erin Ash Sullivan and Meadowlark will perform at Stage 33 Live, 33 Bridge Street in Bellows Falls, Vt. on Sunday, May 21, at 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online, or at the door for an additional fee. All proceeds benefit the musicians. There is limited seating, and the event will be recorded and filmed. More info and tickets at www.stage33live.com.
