As part of the exhibit “Antioch University in the Monadnock Region: Celebrating 60 Years of Service,” this free public event will feature a distinguished panel of long-time Antioch faculty members who have been instrumental in shaping the institution’s educational philosophy and impact.
The distinguished panelists include:
● Heidi Watts, one of the original faculty at Antioch Putney in 1964, faculty emerita in the Education Department and Environmental Studies PhD program
● Edward Tomey, faculty emeritus of the Organization & Management Department and long-time consultant
● James Gruber, co-founder of the Antioch New England Institute and faculty emeritus in the Environmental Studies Department
● David Sobel, renowned author and faculty emeritus in the Education Department, known for his groundbreaking work on children’s education and nature-based learning
This event offers a unique opportunity for community members to hear firsthand accounts of Antioch’s rich history and its significant contributions to the Monadnock region over the past six decades.
