Dear Editor,
We wish to express our gratitude and thank everyone who joined us in enjoying a small chocolate soft serve at Dari Joy on Aug. 26, our son Eric’s birthday. Also, our thanks to Kristopher Radder for his article and tribute that was published in the Brattleboro Reformer on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
In addition, we wish to note Paul Sackevich’s contribution in acting as Eric’s mentor and caregiver from 2011-2023. Among other activities, he helped Eric with Meals on Wheels deliveries and Special Olympics bowling, soccer, and basketball. He also took Eric to King’s Table activities, where Eric interacted with the pastors, Mike and Carol Gibson, and loved helping.
Eric’s brothers, Davey and Mick, and his sisters, Cilla and Cherie, also express their gratitude for the community outpouring of love for their brother.
Eric’s love and light continue to shine!
