SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Galley at the Vault is delighted to present “Vermont in Bloom,” a show of beautiful, vibrant paintings by Deborah Holmes. On display from July 3 to August 5, these watercolors are a feast for the eyes and soul.

It is the landscape of the Champlain Valley and the Northeast Kingdom that inspires her work. Holmes lives in Bristol, Vt., where she has her studio and at-home gallery. She also loves being at her off-grid cabin in Craftsbury Common, and with her family and friends.

Of her work, Homes says, “I have drawn and painted since childhood. It is simply what I like to do best. I paint every day at my studio and on location when it is warm enough. The landscape truly inspires me. Barns and farms are frequently the subject I paint. I love the buildings and animals.”

Holmes captures the beauty of the landscape as well as flowers in her work.

Gallery at the Vault is located at 68 Main Street in Springfield, Vt., and is open Wednesday-Saturday, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. For more information, call
