WESTON, Vt. – Need support for your creative project, for improvements to your cultural building, for welcoming art to your public spaces, and much, much more? Many grant programs of the Vermont Arts Council will be opening soon and accepting applications. You’re invited to join grants staff from the Vermont Arts Council and the Division for Historic Preservation next month, for an overview of our grant programs for artists, nonprofits, municipalities, and schools. We’ll also discuss creating successful grant proposals.
Each session will last approximately 90 minutes, including Q&A and light refreshments. Registration isn’t required, but is helpful for planning. Register at www.tinyurl.com/VTArtsGrantsWorkshop.
The workshop in the local area will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 1 p.m., at the Walker Farm Theater, 705 Main Street, Weston, Vt. In the event of inclement weather, the workshop will be held instead on Friday, March 6, at 1 p.m.
Don’t worry if you are not able to attend; when the grant application opens, there will be an online grantseeker workshop that will be recorded, and available online.
