SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – The Springfield Community Band will present a concert on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 7:30 p.m., at the Hartness House, 109 Front Street, Springfield, Vt. This is a concert to make up for the movie music concert scheduled for June that was cancelled due to rain.
Along with other selections, the evening will feature music from various Pixar movies, music from “Superman Returns” and “Star Wars,” and themes from classic Westerns and other familiar films.
This is the band’s final concert of the season, and the band wishes to take this chance to thank its wonderful and loyal audience. You really do make it all worthwhile. Enjoy the rest of the summer and the autumn, and we will see you in December for our holiday concert.
Please bring a chair. Food and drink will be available for purchase. In case of rain, this concert will take place at the pavilion of the Tree Farm Campground, 53 Skitchewaug Trail, Springfield. Please note that the program could change due to unforeseen circumstances.
