MOUNT HOLLY, Vt. – On Sunday, Sept. 17, from 2-5 p.m., “Music on the Mountain” welcomes Carlos Ocasio and the FryDaddy band to the Belmont Village Green.
The FryDaddy Band has been serving up a fiery blend of classic rock ‘n’ roll and blues, with a peppering of Latin soul, for over 30 years here in Vermont. Their front man Carlos Ocasio is a premier singer and guitarist, who prepares the spiciest licks in the Green Mountains. Once you’ve heard Carlos, you always come back for more.
So get ready to “dance your grass off!” Bring a blanket, bring a chair, and stay hydrated, because you’re going to be moving the entire time. Local Belmont singer-songwriter Jenny Porter will open things up with tunes from her new album “Into the Waves,” then jazzy, rockin’ Mr. Pianoman Jamie Ward takes over to get things jamming.
Our sponsors for this event are Mary Davis Real Estate, the Mount Holly Beer Co., the Belmont General store, VTel, and Vermont Landscaping and Stonework. We are so grateful for their support.
Belmont Village Green is located on Belmont Road in Mount Holly, two miles from the intersection with Route 103.
Come and enjoy classic rock ‘n’ roll and the blues. All your donations for this concert will go to the Mount Holly Community Association. Bring your friends and family to “Music On The Mountain,” Sunday, Sept. 17, at 2 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: The venue for this event has been changed. This article has been updated to reflect this change.
