The documentary features moving sequences at the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota and the site of the Wounded Knee Massacre, offering a deep look into Cash’s life, family, and social conscience.
Local filmmaker Alan Dater, who served as the film’s sound recordist, will be present to introduce the screening and participate in a discussion after the film. A short video interview with director Bob Elfstrom will also precede the screening, offering insight into the making of this extraordinary documentary.
