PROCTORSVILLE, Vt. – Local favorites Gypsy Reel will kick off the Cavendish music series on the Proctorsville Green, on Wednesday, July 9, at 6 p.m.
Always a highlight of the summer series, Gypsy Reel plays a wide-ranging repertoire infused with the Celtic spirit. The band features the twin turbo vocals of Camille and Claudine, Graham’s fiddle, and multi-instrumentalist Silas on guitar, vocals, and standup bass. As usual, they are likely to bring up a couple of guest gypsies and have the Green rocking and reeling.
The Cavendish on the Green Concert Series is brought to you by the Cavendish Community and Conservation Association, and the Town of Cavendish. Local vendors Craig and Jess, of Goodman’s American Pie, will have their truck, and will be dishing out their great pizza. And if you want something else, you could get a bite at Murdoch’s, or dinner to-go from Singleton’s Store.
The CCCA will have a table at the event with our 2025 concert T-shirts on sale, as well as the 2026 community calendar. In the event of rain, we will move the concert across Main Street to the Proctorsville Fire Hall. A special shout-out to M&M Excavating for sponsoring this wonderful event.
