
LUDLOW, Vt. – Jim Alic, chairman of Friends of Ludlow Auditorium (FOLA), announced recently three major events in October.
On Saturday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m., the Enerjazz Orchestra will return to the auditorium to provide its jazz and popular music numbers. The group, made up of talented musicians, will offer a number of old-time and current musical treats, as well as music for dancing.
On the following day, Sunday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m., the Vermont Symphony Orchestra will present a woodwind concert. A quartet from the VSO will present a variety of classical music pieces accentuated by the music of the woodwinds.
Opening the October auditorium presentations by FOLA will be the annual candidates’ forum, on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. The forum will present the candidates seeking the Windsor County Senate seats in Montpelier, along with the local candidates seeking the House seat from the area. The event will be led by a moderator who will address questions to the panel.
