Fletcher Memorial Library presents Music on the Lawn

LUDLOW, Vt. – Wrap up your Independence Day weekend with a concert on the lawn at Fletcher Memorial Library, Monday, July 6, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The Mount Holly Folk Club will perform a mix of favorite folk songs. Bring your chairs and blankets for a wonderful late afternoon of music. Inclement weather will bring the concert inside at the library, located at 88 Main Street in Ludlow.

The Mount Holly Folk Club, started in 2008 by Claudine Languille, of Gypsy Reel and Touchstone, is made up of local community members with the love of music in common. This group meets weekly in Mount Holly, playing folk music at the Mount Holly Community Center. You may have seen them perform during the Mount Holly summer music concerts, and many of the musicians also play solo at local farmers markets and Mount Holly Cider Days.

Leave your chairs in your car after the fireworks and join us at the library on Monday, July 6, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. This program is free and open to the public. For more information on this or other library programs, please call 802-228-8921 or visit www.fmlnews.org.
