Doris Ingram Open Studio Weekend

WESTON, Vt. – Watercolor and oil artist Doris Ingram will once again be participating in the Open Studio Weekend, sponsored by the Vermont Craft Council, on Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. both days. She is part of Loop 10, Studio No. 78. Her studio is located at 83 Trout Club Road in Weston; follow the signs from the town Green.

Ingram is a signature member of both the Vermont Watercolor Society and Delaware Watercolor Society, and has won numerous awards. Her favorite subjects are the old homes and barns that are rapidly disappearing from our landscape. She also enjoys painting bouquets of beautiful flowers from her extensive gardens. Painting is creative, fun, relaxing, educational, and always a challenge.

Ingram has painted many house portraits to benefit the Weston Theater Company and Neighborhood Connections. She is an enthusiastic teacher who enjoys sharing her passion for art with her students. Her studio is filled with paintings of barns, landscapes, flowers, and notecards.
