LONDONDERRY, Vt. β The Londonderry Arts & Historical Society invites community members of all ages and skill levels to participate in a free, hands-on community art event. The Community Blue Bird Mural Workshop will take place over two consecutive Saturdays, July 11 and July 18, from 11 a.m. β 12:30 p.m., at the historic Custer Sharp House, located at 2461 Middletown Rd, Londonderry, Vt.
Led by local art teacher, professional artist, and muralist Kim Ray, this collaborative workshop offers participants a unique opportunity to sketch, paint, and learn about the beauty and ecology of eastern bluebirds. The event is completely free of charge, and all necessary art supplies will be provided.
βArt has a unique power to connect us to the natural world and to each other,β says Ray. “This project is designed to spark a shared appreciation for our local wildlife while giving everyone, regardless of age or experience, a hand in creating a lasting piece of community public art.”
