PROCTORSVILLE, Vt. – The Town of Cavendish and the Cavendish Community and Conservation Association (CCCA) invite the public to join in an evening of live music on the Proctorsville Green on Wednesday, July 29, at 6 p.m.

Deb Brisson & The Hay Burners are a veteran Addison-County Vermont band that features Brisson’s supple and powerful lead vocals. Their heartfelt repertoire ranges from soulful and bluesy to pulsating rock and rollicking alt-country. The group mixes strong originals with cover songs by Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Wonder, Alabama Shakes, Linda Ronstadt, and more. Their music can be found on Spotify, Apple Music, and other streaming services.

Join your friends and neighbors in front of the gazebo on the Green, bring a blanket or a comfortable chair, have a picnic, or just lie back on the grass and relax. Murdock’s Restaurant and Singleton’s General Store offer take-out food options and are located on or near the Green. The concert series are a fun way to enjoy the summer weather, and reconnect with old friends or make new ones.

As always, the concerts are free and open to the public. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held in the Proctorsville Fire Hall on Main Street, an intimate space with good acoustics. For more information on the concerts and to see what else the CCCA is up to, visit  www.cavendishccca.org or email cavendishcommunityconservation@gmail.com.

Thanks to the Cavendish Community Fund for sponsoring this Concert on the Green.
