PERKINSVILLE, Vt. – Naomi Rabtoy Barrows, 72, of Perkinsville, Vt., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017. She was born in Casco, Maine, daughter of Francis Babe and Jacqueline Rabtoy.
She married David Barrows on Jan. 4, 1963. They began their life together in Springfield, Vt. and started a family, having four children together. In 1978, the family moved to Perkinsville. They celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Barrows was employed many years at Fellows Gear Shaper as a machinist. She retired in 2010 from Senior Solutions. Barrows enjoyed her family, especially playing games with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, crafts, ceramics, and bingo.
Barrows was predeceased by her husband, her parents, and her sister, Serena. She is survived by her children: William Barrows and his wife Melissa of Cavendish; Diana (Barrows) Gould of Gassets; Heidi (Barrows) Stillings of Charlestown, N.H.; Susan (Barrows) Papineau and her husband Howard of Perkinsville. She is also survived by one sister, Leilani Rabtoy. Barrows was blessed with 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at Springfield Assembly of God, on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at 11 a.m. A gathering will be held immediately following the service at same location.

The burial will be held at a later date. Barrows’ family would like to offer a special thank you to her granddaughter Naomi Gould helping taking care of their mother during the past few months of her life.
