PERKINSVILLE, Vt. – It is with deep sadness that we share the recent unexpected death of Jesse Franklin, 35. He was cherished and will be missed by his parents Russell and Ginny, sister Mary Lewis and brother-in-law Tim Lewis, aunt and uncle Sally and Phil Kugler, cousins Sam and Matt Kugler, and close friend Tricia Temple. He is also grieved by countless friends and family, near and far.
Jesse began life with a rare heart defect, which required surgery as a baby and again as a young adult. His determined spirit along with love and support helped him through all his challenges.
As he grew up, he developed a love of skiing, golf, anything with a motor, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
Jesse had a kind, gentle spirit with an ever-present sense of humor. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and had a ready smile. His special presence will be so greatly missed.
There will be a Celebration of Life service Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Brownsville Community Church in Brownsville, Vt. We are casual people so dress comfortably.
In memory of Jesse’s life, we picked a wish list fund at CHAD that provides toys, games, and other items to bring comfort and solace to children in the hospital as we so appreciated all who helped him and us through his journeys.
If you wish to contribute, please contact Jason Naugler at 603-653-0759 for CHAD wish list Fund 2-22576. If you wish to contribute by mail, checks are payable to Dartmouth Hitchcock Health. In memo write: “Jesse, CHAD wish list fund #2-22576” and mail to Office of Development, ATTN: Jason, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, N.H. 03756.
Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield, Vt. assisted with arrangements.
