ROCKINGHAM, Vt. – Herbert “Bill” Wilson, 55, of Brockways Mill Road, passed away Aug. 21, 2018. Bill was born in Bellows Falls May 27, 1963, the son of Herbert H. Wilson and Sandra Stark. He was a 1982 graduate of Bellows Falls High School where he loved playing football – jersey number 75. He was so proud to be the owner of Green Mountain Custom Pruning. In his off-season, he worked for Advanced Drainage Systems. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. He loved watching NASCAR on Sundays, gardening, and his fruit trees. Bill would get a sparkle in his eyes whenever he talked about his great-nephews, twins Sawyer and Olly.
Bill leaves behind the love of his life, Judy Bates; his mother Sandra Santaw and husband Stanley; his sister Tammy Kissell and husband David; his brothers Michael Wilson and wife Tammy and Stanley Santaw Jr. and wife Mary; his nieces Caroline Brodeur and husband Rob, Emma Santaw, and Payton and Morgan Wilson; his nephew Stan Santaw III, Dean Santaw, and David Kissell II; and his great-nephews Sawyer, Olly, and Neil Brodeur. He is predeceased by his father Herbert and maternal grandparents John and Helen Stark.
There will be a graveside service 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 2 in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Bellows Falls, Vt. with a gathering for family and friends 1 p.m. at the American Legion Post #37.
