SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Eden Rose Hammond Tenney, of White River Junction, 29, passed away May 27, 2019 from complications of a blood clotting disorder. Eden was born in Springfield, Vt., but she spent most of her early years living and attending schools in Claremont, N.H. She was last employed by the Lebanon, N.H. school district, where she was known as a wonderful, hardworking employee, serving lunch to middle school students.
She leaves behind two young sons, Rickey, 10, and Evan, 6; her mother Deborah Hulser; her sister Cassidy Hankins; a niece Paige Shepard; her grandmother Paula Richotte; her great-grandmother Betty Robitaille; aunts Tamara Hammond and Keturah Hammond; and cousins Hannah and Lizzy Pierce. In addition, many others shared her life and loved her including Ricci Findley and Thomas Richotte.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, Oct. 20 at 1:30 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Springfield, Vt. Donations in Eden’s memory may be made to the Upper Valley Haven, 713 Hartford Ave., White River Jct. VT 05001 or donate online at www.uppervalleyhaven.org.
