Windsor Police Officer Jennifer Frank named “Law Officer of the Year”

WINDSOR, Vt. – The Windsor Police Department is proud to announce that Detective Jennifer Frank was named the American Legion’s “Law Officer of the Year” for the State of Vermont. Det. Frank was chosen from numerous Vermont Law Enforcement Officers candidates who had been nominated for this prestigious award. Det. Frank is the first ever-female officer to receive this award in the State of Vermont. Det. Frank was presented the award at the American Legion’s annual award ceremony on Saturday June 24, held at the Holiday Inn in Rutland, Vermont.

We could not be more proud of Detective Frank for all her accomplishments since joining the Windsor Police Department. Det. Frank is an outstanding police officer and the epitome of what it means to be a Windsor Police Officer. Detective Frank was chosen as the Windsor Police “Officer of the Year” for 2016 for all her successes as our School Resource Officer and SIU Detective. She continues to be an example of excellence within her chosen field of law enforcement.
