SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Springfield Town Library is celebrating “Library Card Sign-up Month” throughout the month of September. The library has special opportunities in store. Beside all the wonderful materials and services offered by the library, there will be prizes for some lucky winners. Anyone who is at least 16 years of age that signs up for a new library card during the month of September will be entered in a raffle for a $25 gift certificate. All students under 16 will have the opportunity to choose a book to take home. The first 10 students under 16 will receive school supplies in addition to the book they’ll be taking home.
For those who do not live in Springfield and do not yet have a card, the library is offering an extra incentive to get in on all that it has. All non-residents who purchase a library card will receive an extra three months free.
