LUDLOW, Vt. – Black River Good Neighbor Services Food Shelf has been selected as a beneficiary of the Shaw’s Give Back Where It Counts program for the month of August.
The Shaw’s Give Back Where It Counts program, which launched in April 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work. Black River Good Neighbor Services Food Shelf was selected as the August beneficiary of the program by store leadership at Ludlow Shaw’s.
Black River Good Neighbor Services Food Shelf will receive a $1 donation every time the reusable Give Back Where It Counts Bag is purchased at this location during August, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the giving tag attached to the bag. Black River Good Neighbor Services is a nonprofit based in Ludlow and serves the communities of Mount Holly, Belmont, Cavendish, Proctorsville, Plymouth, and Ludlow.
