CHARLESTOWN, N.H. – On Saturday, Oct. 5, the Loving Hearts Sewing Group from Charlestown, N.H., held a luncheon to present the Springfield Area Parent Child Center Welcome Baby Bag coordinator, Celeste Marquise, with 28 handmade “Mommy and Me” Welcome Baby Bags.

They are beautiful, durable, easy to clean, and water resistant. Filled with handmade blankets, hats, bibs, burp cloths, stuffed toys, and more, the sewing group of just five committed ladies pulled in the support of their friends and faith-based community to provide various types of donations as they completed this project over the past year.

Each bag was made with an incredible amount of thoughtfulness and love. The SAPCC staff is beyond grateful and honored to accept these one-of-a-kind Welcome Baby Bags and gift them to families who will cherish the items for many years to come.
