Integrative nutrition series at Neighborhood Connections

LONDONDERRY, Vt. – Beata Hasaj, owner and founder of “ReNu You,” will hold a four-session workshop on integrative nutrition beginning Thursday, July 5 at The Meeting Place at Neighborhood Connections. Each session begins at 2 p.m.

On July 5, she will discuss “Smoothies & Juicing.” Learn the difference between smoothies and juicing. Is one better than the other? Beata will give advice on building a healthy smoothie with sample recipes, demonstrations, and tastings.

On July 12, the subject is “Nutritional Detoxing” and why periodical detoxing is good for you. She will share recipes for a safe, three-day mini detox complete with a shopping list.

“Healthy Gut, Healthy You” is the subject of her July 19 program. Learn the symptoms and causes of gut permeability and how to heal a “leaky” gut and improve your overall health.

She concludes the series July 26 with “Clean Eating.” Learn the importance of reading package labels and clearing out your pantry and beauty cabinet. Should you buy only organically grown produce? She will share meal plans, which will jumpstart your clean eating.

Beata is a graduate of St. John’s University and Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She works one-on-one with clients to create nutrition plans based on whole and unprocessed foods.
