LUDLOW, Vt. – The Black River High and Middle School faculty and staff would like to thank the local businesses and community members who supported A Taste of Fall Thursday, Oct. 17.

Despite the cold, rainy weather, over 80 community members came to dine at the Ludlow Community Center in support of Black River Good Neighbors.

Delicacies were provided by DuJour VT, Sweet Surrender Bakery, Big Eyes Bakery, Stemwinders, Goodman’s American Pie, The Castle, Mojos, The Killarney, Murdock’s, La Tavola, and Outer Limits Brewery. Sam’s Steakhouse and Mr. Darcy’s both made monetary donations.

Participants voted The Killarney’s Jameson’s Chicken Pot Pie as the “Best Taste of Fall” and “Best Savory Taste.” For the second year in a row, Big Eye’s Bakery took home the “Best Sweet Taste” with their Maple Baklava.

With the help of all of this year’s participants, BRHMS was able to donate $776.16 to Black River Good Neighbors. Thank you again to all those who supported A Taste of Fall!
