Bellows Falls Women’s Club February meeting

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – Members of the Bellows Falls Women’s Club will gather Tuesday, Feb. 11 at the United Church on School Street, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Shaun McGinnis, chief of Bellows Falls Fire Department, will speak to the club.

At the Jan. 14 meeting, Marty Gallagher, administrator of Greater Rockingham Area Services, presented a program on the agency located at the Bellows Falls Health Center. GRAS has several partners dedicated to fulfilling its mission of making health care and well-being accessible to the area’s citizens. She spoke of her vision for the organization.

Members are reminded to bring non-perishable food and personal care items to be donated to Our Place Drop-in Center to the February meeting. It is suggested that members wear red in honor of American Heart month.

The local club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, which supports volunteerism throughout the country and world. The GFWC-VT will hold its winter meeting Feb. 1 in Ludlow. Members of the Bellows Falls club will attend.
