BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – Bellows Falls Women’s Club will meet Dec. 10 at the United Church on School Street beginning at 1:30 p.m. Local attorney Ray Massucco will speak on laws affecting senior citizens.
A business meeting Nov. 12 included the reading of a Resolution of Respect for 75 year club member Alice Powers, who died in October. Carol Zachary of Walpole was welcomed as a new member. Members authorized donations to the Police Department’s holiday outreach to local families and to Project Graduation at Bellows Falls Union High School.
Plans for attending the Dec. 13 holiday concert and luncheon at Kurn Hattin were outlined. Members were reminded that the Central School Shopping Day, for which volunteers are needed to wrap the children’s gifts for their families, will be held Dec. 18.
Members donated several bags of non-perishable food and personal care items to the Fall Mountain Food Shelf.
