BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – The Bellows Falls Area Senior Center will be hosting an AARP Driver Safety Course Friday April 26, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Cars have changed. So have traffic rules, driving conditions, and the roads we travel every day. Some drivers have never looked back since they got their first driver’s license, but even the most experienced drivers can benefit from brushing up on their driving skills. Learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques, and how to operate vehicles more safely in today’s increasingly challenging driving environment.
There is a cost for AARP members and nonmembers. Please prepay to reserve your spot by mailing a check made out to AARP to BFASC, 18 Tuttle St., Bellows Falls, VT 05101 or stop by in person. Please bring a bagged lunch.
On Tuesday, April 30, we are taking a day trip to Brattleboro. Stops include a visit to the Brattleboro Museum, lunch at The Marina, and shopping at Grafton Cheese. The van leaves the senior center at 9 a.m. Fee covers transportation and museum entry fees.
