CHESTER, Vt. – Mark your calendars for Saturday, Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. The First Universalist Parish of Chester, Vt. will be showing the film, “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power.” A discussion will follow with Climate Reality trained leader Rev. Kevin Carson.

This is an excellent film with a positive takeaway even as there is much to be done to address the climate crisis. Join us for a thought-provoking film as part of the Global Strike for the Climate week of events.

“An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” tells the story of one man’s fight to solve this crisis at a time when the threat has never been clearer – and the reasons for hope have never been greater. We follow former Vice President Al Gore as he travels the world training citizens as Climate Reality Leaders and building an international coalition to confront the greatest challenge humanity has ever faced.

This film arrives at a critical moment, as Gore, Climate Reality, and millions of Americans fight for the health of our planet.
