SPRINGFIELD, Vt. –The Springfield Farmers’ Market is open for the season in the People’s United Bank Parking lot from 10a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Springfield. The market will be held every Saturday rain or shine through October 8 at the Vermont Apple Festival.
We have a variety of vendors offering produce, preserves, pickles, prepared foods, baked goods, eggs, meats, honey and maple syrup as well as an assortment of unique handmade gifts including bees wax candles, jewelry, wooden bowls, personal care products and much more. In future weeks we hope to offer demonstrations of food preparation using products from the vendors.
There are a few spaces for handicaped parking, visitors can ask vendor/managers for assistance with parking. We have an area where customers can sit and enjoy their purchases and visit with friends and neighbors.
