CHESTER, Vt. – Mountain Valley Climate Action 350VT is having an electric vehicle Cruise In, rain or shine, Saturday, July 27, from 4-7 p.m. at the First Universalist Parish of Chester, 211 North St., Route 103 in the historic Stone Village.
EV cars and electric bicycles welcome. Owners with vehicles will meet at 4 p.m. and at 4:15 p.m. the group will cruise around the three-mile loop past the Chester Green, over the Church Street hill, and back to the site. Following the cruise through town, the EVs will be on display on the lawn behind the church, and owners will be available for a “show and tell” and to answer any questions.
“One of the ministers here attended an event like this recently and made the decision to go electric,” said organizer Melody Reed. SunCommon and 350VT, as well as MVCA, will have information tables at the event. Please join us with or without an EV and enjoy a vegan and vegetarian barbecue during the festivities. “If you’ve ever been curious about electric vehicles, this is a great opportunity to find out more.”
