Bellows Falls team off to a great start

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – The Bellows Falls Post 37 Legion Baseball Team is off to a great start. Entering Tuesday night’s game against Brattleboro they are tied with their neighbors to the south in the Vermont Southern Division standings with a 4-1 record. Hartford leads the South at 5-1.Four teams from each region make the post-season play-offs.

The next three teams are bunched in the standings and are likely battling for the final play-off position. Obviously, one of the top three teams could fall a ways allowing more than one of the lower teams to make it into fourth place.

Rutland and Lakes Region (the Fair Haven area team) are presently tied for fourth with 3-2 records with the final three Southern spots occupied by Randolph 2-2, Ludlow 1-7 and Bennington 0-5.
