The Weapons of Fraud: Anatomy of the Crime

REGION – AARP Vermont is offering a series of free virtual presentations on consumer fraud. On Jan. 26 is “The Weapons of Fraud: Anatomy of the Crime,” an overview of the leading scams, techniques of con artists, and discussion of the steps to take to avoid victimization. While addressing a wide range of issues, it does not cover computer and cyber scams in detail. Presentations are offered at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Pre-registration is required.
