Stone & Snow with Luminous Crush at Stage 33 Live

August 25 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – NPR-heralded Midwest touring duo Stone & Snow will give an intimate concert at Stage 33 Live, 33 Bridge Street in Bellows Falls, Vt., on Friday evening, Aug. 25, at 7 p.m. Regional favorites Luminous Crush will open in their acoustic duo configuration. There is limited seating available; the event will be recorded and filmed. More info and tickets at www.stage33live.com.www.stage33live.com

Named “Best Folk/Soul Artist” at the 2022 Richmond International Film and Music Festival, Stone & Snow is an Americana pairing of songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Karen Bridges and Clint Thomson. Their collaboration is filled with close harmonies and thoughtful lyrics, with a name that nods to mountain landscapes. Their latest album, “Delicate and Wild,” released this year, was recorded with Grammy-nominated producer David Mayfield.

“The band’s multi-genre sound pulls from folk, indie rock, swing, and soul — somehow stitching it all together seamlessly.” says Elle Manion of NPR Music’s “All Songs Considered.”

“Their rich vocal harmonies and warm vibe will leave you wanting to see more from this midwest duo.” says American Songwriter Magazine.

“If Florence and the Machine made folk music, it might sound a little like Stone & Snow.” says Katie Anastas of NPR Music’s “All Songs Considered.”

Laura Molinelli and Ben Campbell of Luminous Crush will open in their acoustic duo configuration — sometimes dubbed AcoustiCrush — with their highly developed fusion of bluegrass, outlaw country, dream pop, and indie rock. Laura came up as a singer-songwriter during the 90s NYC folk scene, alongside such artists as Dar Williams and Lucy Kaplansky. Ben has written and produced records under the moniker “Saint Albums” on the indie label Lonely Highway, and collaborated with musical luminaries including Tony-winning artist Anaïs Mitchell (Hadestown), Caleb Elder (Route 7 Ramblers), and Jake Geppert (Bondville Boys).

Tickets for this 7 p.m. show on Friday, Aug. 25, have been generously discounted, either in advance through www.stage33live.com or at the door. Advance tickets guarantee entry if the intimate 40-person capacity is reached.
