On behalf of the board, staff, and clients of Health Care and Rehabilitation Services, I would like to express our sincere appreciation to the residents of Windsor and Windham counties who voted to support HCRS’ town-funding request at their Town Meeting this spring.
As a nonprofit agency serving more than 4,000 individuals annually across southeastern Vermont, we rely on this funding to support our walk-in services. Individuals and families dealing with the challenges of mental illness, substance abuse, or developmental disabilities are the ones who benefit from this town funding, allowing them to connect with someone quickly and when needed. We recognize the importance of getting help when you need it. That is why our comprehensive programs are set up for people to access the support they require – 365 days a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours every day.
Our thanks go out to the following Vermont towns for voting in support of HCRS’ programs and services: Andover, Athens, Barnard, Bethel, Brattleboro, Cavendish, Chester, Dover, Dummerston, Grafton, Guilford, Halifax, Hartford, Hartland, Jamaica, Landgrove, Londonderry, Ludlow, Marlboro, Newfane, Plymouth, Pomfret, Putney, Reading, Rockingham, Royalton, Sharon, Springfield, Stratton, Townshend, Vernon, Wardsboro, Weathersfield, Westminster, Weston, West Windsor, Whitingham, Wilmington, Windham, Windsor, and Woodstock.
With your help, HCRS is able to make a substantial and positive impact on the quality of life that the residents of our region experience throughout the year.
