MOUNT HOLLLY, Vt. – Jenkins Builders LLC is excited about the upcoming year. Brandon Jenkins and his wife Megan Harlow moved to Vermont last winter. They have joined forces combining Brandon’s years of experience in residential building and project management with Megan’s background in communications to form a new option for residential building in Southern Vermont.

“We were energized by the growing possibilities with development in the area and decided the Okemo Mountain area was the perfect place to locate our energy and excitement for building,” Brandon Jenkins explained.

The pair works together from their Mount Holly office while raising three children under 6. Family and building have been a part of their life since they met. They met in northern Virginia where Brandon was a top project manager for an award-winning high-end residential builder in D.C. “We started working together flipping homes in northern Virginia before deciding that what we enjoyed the most was time together and working together. I look forward to bringing the level of professionalism and exceptional results that I demand to Vermont. From working with residents while we are in the process of remodels, I specialize in making sure the job site is clean and the work we are doing does not affect the rest of the house.

“The extra effort to make sure all my subcontractors and employees are keeping the work site clean and professional help make sure clients have a positive experience through what can be a stressful time. The extra care for your home and possessions can make all the difference in how easy the process can be. I know how stressful it can be to remodel while vacationing and/or living in a house. That is why I really focus on keeping things as smooth as possible and staying in contact with my clients throughout every step of the process. No question is too small and I like to be there to answer my client’s questions at any time.” Brandon said.

Megan Harlow commented, “I am really excited about being home and having the opportunity to participate and give back to the community that led me to great opportunities in my own life. I graduated from Black River High School and my heart remains in this community. Having studied communication and debate at UVM and then studying in Kansas and later Europe, I am happy to be back rooted in my hometown. Bringing our business here made so much sense for us. We are so excited to provide a complete design, build and renovation solution. As a family business, we work hard to make sure that we are also giving back to the community and that is a priority for us. You won’t find anyone who will work harder to make your dreams a reality than us. I am happy to join the long line of entrepreneurs from my family in this area including my grandparents David and Marjorie Harlow who started the Green Mountain Sugar House and my late father Carleton Harlow, who ran Generator Maintenance System Inc.”

Jenkins Builders specialized in high-end kitchen and bath residential remodels, insurance rebuilds, and water repairs, decks, flooring, and attic renovations. The pair is dedicated to providing professional, timely and customer-centered service.
