CHESTER, Vt. – Are you curious about living more sustainably? Wondering what it means to live green? Looking for advice or wanting to share what you have learned? Join us at Whiting Library, Saturday, Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. for “Green Living – Inside and Out” with Cheryl Joy Lipton. Come share what you do to live sustainably and learn what steps to take next, or what to do to get started.
Lipton has a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and a Master of Science in ecology from Penn State University. She is a specialist in native plants and invasive non-natives. Lipton has been an organic gardener and has been living green for a long time, and now does so with her husband, daughter, cats, chickens, and a puppy.
