KILLINGTON, Vt. – For the last 26 years, the Vermont Brewers Association has been running a successful brewers’ festival on the waterfront in Burlington, Vt. On March 23, 2019, the brewers will host an all-outdoor winter festival at the picturesque mountain setting of Killington Resort.
This smaller, more intimate festival is held completely outdoors and is focused on collaborations beers. Thirty-four of the featured brewers will get together to create special one-off brews that can only be found at this festival.
Tickets are on sale now. You can also purchase a lift ticket to ski and ride over the weekend and attend the festival. Attendees will sample special beers in varying pour sizes, meet the brewers, and enjoy food trucks and fire pits at the base of the K-1 lodge. There are two sessions to choose from: 12-3 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. Attendees will not want to miss out on trying unique beers at this one-day event.
Vermont brewers established the Vermont Brewers Festival in 1991. This event and the festival on Waterfront Park in Burlington each July are the only festivals created and hosted by the brewers. Tickets are on sale now at www.vtbrewfest.com. All proceeds from the event will support the Vermont Brewers Association, a nonprofit founded in 1995 to promote and strengthen the culture of craft brewing in Vermont through marketing, education, and advocacy for Vermont-made beer.
