BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – Families and youth of all ages are invited to the Rockingham Free Public Library Monday, Dec. 23 at 5 p.m. for PUNSCHI, a special family event.

PUNSCHI is an action-packed laughing good time performed under by second-generation puppeteer Jana Zeller of Sandglass Theater and her cast of German hand puppets. Inspired by European fairground traditions, enjoy two hand puppet adventures, clowning, and musical interludes on the ukulele, in a show that has delighted family audiences for 35 years!

Jana grew up in a family of internationally touring puppeteers and began working as a designer and painter for the theater in her teens. As a set painter and designer, she has worked for the theater, opera, TV, and the movies, and has designed and built a wide range of puppets. She founded her own puppet company and has created three full-length puppet shows for adults. Her work has been presented in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Germany, and India. For the past two years, Jana has enjoyed performing for family audiences and touring with her sister.

This program is free, open to the public, and accessible. For more information, call 802-463-4270, email youthservices@rockinghamlibrary.org, visit www.rockinghamlibrary.org, or stop by the library.
