CHESTER, Vt. – Author, educator, and speaker Kimberly C. Paul will be at Phoenix Books Misty Valley Sunday, July 21 at 4 p.m. for a conversation on her new book, “Bridging the Gap.”
Kimberly Paul wants to radically change the way people face end of life, and she’s using her extensive experience as a storyteller to do just that. Through her cross country speaking tour and her Tedx Talk, Paul seeks to normalize difficult conversations around death and dying to empower people to take ownership of their end of life choices. She spent 17 years working in hospice care and became dedicated to inspiring people to take action in documenting their personal plans prior to a life-ending health crisis.
In “Bridging the Gap,” Paul says, “Throughout my years working with the dying, I don’t see death in any other way but color. Death is not black and white. Death is vibrant color full of life, adventures, laughter and hope.” Paul is also host of the weekly podcast, Death by Design.
