SPRINGFIELD, Vt. – Ready to reap the rewards of this year’s garden and begin thinking ahead to next year? Join us at the Springfield Town Library Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 6:30 p.m. to learn how to harvest what you have now and save seeds to plant next year. Come to swap harvest season tips with others.
Pattrice Jones from Vine Sanctuary will lead a lively discussion that will include topics such as what to do with too many tomatoes and what to do now for more fertile garden soil next year. And, don’t forget to visit the free seed library at the library. This program is free, accessible to people with disabilities, and open to the public.
