LUDLOW, Vt. – Fletcher Farm School’s summer term is now in full swing. We are offering the following classes:

  • Zentangle I with Nancy Monson – July 2, 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Printmaking Workshop with Roger Hyndman – July 6-9, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; July 10, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Black Ash Berry Basket with Penny Hewitt – July 6, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Creative Metalworking with Piper Strong – July 6, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; July 7, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Tatting with Evelyn Gant – July 8-9, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; July 10, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Quilter’s Choice with Susan Damone Balch – July 8-13, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; July 14, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Zentangle II with Nancy Monson – July 2, 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Explorations in Metal Clay with Lis-el Crowley – July 10-11, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; July 12, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Steps to Painting Outdoors with skilled Vermont landscape painter Lynn VanNatta – July 12-13, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; July 14, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Birch Painting: Everyone Can Be an Artist! with Dona Nazarenko – July 13, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Felting a Flying Owl with Sue Carey – July 13, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; July 14, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Hunter’s Lodge Quilt with Bonny Peters – July 13, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Fletcher Farm School Gift and Craft Shop reopened for the summer season June 25. The shop will be open Tuesday – Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The shop features fine art, pottery, jewelry, baby items, decorative accents, fiber arts, photography, knit and crochet items, cards, and gifts for any occasion. Proceeds from the shop’s sales benefit the Fletcher Farm School. Sales of donated items go toward our Young Artist Scholarship Fund. This year, with the additional help of a grant from the Anthony Marro Trust Fund, we were able to provide scholarships to 33 local youths.
