LUDLOW, Vt. – Fletcher Farm School for the Arts & Crafts will be celebrating its 70th anniversary on July 1 during our annual craft festival. In addition to over 60 craft vendors, our celebration will feature live musicians throughout the day, and delicious food to tempt your appetite. We will be serving our famous strawberry shortcake, pizza, tacos in pocket, fresh lemonade, wine and beer, ice cream, and some surprising new choices.
Our celebration will feature a variety of live craft demonstrations by many of our instructors in our big barn, along with chainsaw carving demonstrations. Bring your pets and have a photo shoot with them. Children’s activities will be quite a treat, with prizes for all. A silent auction will be open for your bids all day long, as well as numerous raffles for you take a chance. These activities will culminate with a live auction late in the day. Each vendor will be handing out a free giveaway at some time during the day, and you could be the lucky one while shopping at their booth.
Admission is free, and the goal is a fun and exciting day for everyone.
In addition, the first annual Society of Vermont Artists and Craftsmen Robert Frost Award, honoring someone who has contributed to the arts in Vermont, will be presented during the celebration.
