CHESTER, Vt. – The 2019 Chester Summer Music Series is delighted to present The Stone Cold Roosters, comprised of Colin McCaffrey, Ted Mortimer, Roy Cutler, Casey Dennis, Thal Aylward, and Chuck Elleron, Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. on the Academy Lawn across from the green in Chester, Vt., as the second of our six summer concerts.
The Stone Cold Roosters are a band that can strut, swing, and rock across decades of American music with style. Classic country, swamp-rock, hillbilly-funk, blues, western swing, and honky-tonk are just a few of the stops the Roosters make on their continental tour. Their debut CD Out Of The Woods recently won Country Album Of the Year from the Times Argus, and was hailed as “righteously old-fashioned” by Burlington’s Seven Days. The mostly original 12-song disc is full of classic sounding western swing and timeless Americana.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. In the event of rain, the concerts will be held at American Legion Post 67, 637 Route 103 South in Chester.
