REGION – The Albany Berkshire Ballet is proud to present its 44th annual tour of the holiday classic “The Nutcracker.” Artistic director Madeline Cantarella Culpo choreographed the production. “The Nutcracker” will feature local dance students in special children’s roles alongside the professional dancers of the ABB.

A holiday favorite, “The Nutcracker” tells the story of a young girl, Clara, and the magical dream she has one Christmas Eve.  Set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless music, the story of “The Nutcracker” follows the adventures of Clara and her Nutcracker Prince as they conquer the Mouse King and embark on a magical journey to The Land of Sweets.

ABB has been bringing this acclaimed production throughout the Northeast since 1974.

  • Colonial Theatre, Pittsfield, Mass., Dec. 1-2
  • The Egg at Empire State Plaza, Albany, N.Y., Dec. 8-9
  • Symphony Hall, Springfield, Mass., Dec. 15
