WHITE RIVER JUCTION, Vt. – Starting on Oct. 11, 2017 the Upper Valley Curling Club will hold league play every Wednesday evening from 5:40 until 8:00 p.m. at the Barwood Arena in White River Junction. If you’ve seen curling on TV, you’ve seen world-class curlers in action. The Upper Valley Curling Club has members at every level of experience but world class, and they are all interested in acquainting you with the sport.
In addition to the league play, open curling will be held on Saturday evenings from 5:45 until 8:15 p.m. beginning Oct. 14 and “drop in” curlers are always welcome. Learn to Curl clinics will also be scheduled on Saturdays each month for those who are interested in trying the sport. The first clinic will be held on Oct. 14 at 5:45 p.m. Learn to Curl clinics do require reservations and they fill up fast, so please send an email to the above address to reserve your spot. The club supplies formal, hands on instruction and all necessary curling equipment to students, who only need to bring warm clothing and shoes with non-skid soles.
