Golf update from the Sugarbush Clubhouse

WARREN, Vt. – A great field competed for the Sugarbush Resort Golf Club Stroke Play Championship. John Parsons birdied the 18th hole to win his fourth Club Championship over last year’s champion, Aidan Melville. Lolly Katz won her seventh overall ladies’ championship, and third in a row! Carina Edwards was the ladies’ net winner. Jeff Minkiewicz was the men’s first flight gross champion, and Paul McGowan won the men’s first flight net.

Vermont Troops and Families Tournament

Join us Sunday, Sept. 16 for the tournament for Vermont Troops and Families at the Sugarbush Golf Club to support our fellow Vermonters serving our country and the state of Vermont. All proceeds go to helping the soldiers and their families who have answered the call to duty for our country and state by supporting the Vermont National Guard Charitable Foundation.

The tournament is a scramble format with teams of four. Shotgun start is at 10 a.m. Fee includes golf, cart, prizes, and dinner at Rumble’s Kitchen after the tournament.

Vermont Cancer Support Network Golf Tournament

On Sunday, Sept. 23, come out and support our fellow Vermonters whose lives are affected by cancer. All proceeds go to providing them with support, information, and education. The tournament starts at 10 a.m. with scramble format and four-person teams, box lunch, auction, and prizes.

Registration is at 8:30 a.m. Shotgun start at 10 a.m.
