CHESTER, Vt. – Green Mountain would have the highest boys’ seed of any area team if the Vermont Division III boys’ basketball tournament was to begin today. The Chieftains are currently 6-6 with eight games remaining to be played. The team is currently the 9th seed in the division. They still have home games to be played:

  • Friday, Feb. 16 – Leland & Gray
  • Friday, March 2 – Bellows Falls

Green Mountain girls’ team stands in 5th place in the Vermont Division III state standings presently with a 12-4 record. Green Mountain has two home games remaining:

  • Thursday, Feb. 8 – Bellows Falls
  • Thursday, Feb. 22 – Proctor
