CUTTINGSVILLE, Vt. – On May 1, 2016 at a dinner in her honor, Kelsey Stewart of Cuttingsville was awarded $1,200 from the Mary Barclay Scholarship Fund. Kelsey is in her junior year in the nursing program at Southern Vermont College, specializing in radiology. She is the daughter of Paul and Karen Stewart.

The scholarship fund is in conjunction with Mount Moriah Lodge of Freemasons in East Wallingford. It was established in 2009 and has awarded nearly $20,000 to students of nursing from our area. This year’s award was largely provided by a generous contribution from lodge member Andrew Bene.

Kelsey has demonstrated exceptional academic and community performance, and the Scholarship Committee was pleased to select her as the 2016 recipient of the award.
