LUDLOW, Vt. – At its recent Seniors Award Night at Black River High School, the Ludlow Rotary continued its long tradition of awarding scholarships to eligible graduating high school seniors from Ludlow, Mount Holly, Plymouth, and Cavendish.

BRHS students receiving the awards were Jonathan LeTourneau of Ludlow, $2,000 Ralph D. Hogancamp Vocational Scholarship; Morgan Brown of Ludlow, $1,000 traditional scholarship.

In both 2018 and 2017, Ludlow Rotary funded scholarships aggregating $9,000, up 50 percent from recent years. Including those awarded in 2018, the Ludlow Rotary has now provided more than $250,000 in scholarships to local graduating seniors, mostly from funds raised at the annual Ludlow Rotary Penny Sales.
