BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. – It is a pleasure to announce that Reno Tuttle has been named the February Elks’ Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School. Reno, a junior, is the son of Amy and Joe Tuttle of Bellows Falls.
Tuttle is a well-rounded student who participates in class discussion, asks good questions, and encourages others to get involved. He approaches his assignments with enthusiasm and an interest in learning.
A positive role model to all, Tuttle is friendly, understanding, and shows compassion for others. He has a positive attitude, is always smiling and cheerful, and is full of school spirit. Whether it is offering a friendly hello, a smile of encouragement or hands on assistance, Tuttle is often the first one to reach out to others in need. He shows respect and kindness to everyone he meets, and his character is truly extraordinary. Tuttle goes out of his way to say hello, make people feel welcome, and practices inclusion simply because he is a compassionate human.
Not only a positive addition to his classes, Tuttle represents BFUHS and its community positively through his involvement in extracurricular activities. Tuttle is a dedicated track athlete, and one of the captains of the BFUHS Purple Gang football team. Through these activities, he demonstrates sportsmanship and leadership and works hard to improve his skills.
Tuttle is presently participating in the BFUHS Spring musical, “Willy Wonka,” is serving on the junior prom committee, and is a leader in his class.
Clearly deserving of this award, BFUHS and Elks are proud to have Reno Tuttle represent us for the month of February.
